Instead of chasing pie in the sky, the U.S. Department of Energy has outlined a brand new investment stragey favouring green transportation technologies that have already shown potential.

It was just reported by the Wall Street Journal that the British commercial electric car maker Smith Electric Vehicles has found another customer. This time going green is Duane Reade – a large New York based pharmacy retaler with many branches.

Whenever they mention Siemens, it gives me a bit of a nostalgia. I’ve been using their mobile phones for years and it made me sad when they stopped.
