Electric Car Market is Turning from Obscure to Huge

4 March 2010 No Comment

Bharat Book - one of the worldwide leaders in marketing reports has just released a report on electric vehicles and hybrids. Wanna know the price? You’d need to dish out $6,200 to read this marketing report. That’s a lot of money for a document. What I want to say - the green vehicle sector is MUCH bigger than we are ready to admit. As a comparison, a report on Food and Drinks industry from Bharat Book costs just $200.

The document looks at the sales figures, innovation leaders and global trends. According to Bharat, estimated 700,000 green cars has been sold in 2009 - 99% of them - hybrids.

Although it aparently manages to overlook all the European makers, the report includes REVA as one of the market leaders (rise eyebrows). Well, well, well…
