7.3 Miles Through London in a Prius

It’s just over a year since Toyota in collaboration with EDF Energy started a field-test by leasing 20 Prius Plug-In Hybrid to London-based businesses.

General Motors to Romp Up Production

Apparently GM is not happy with the thought that Nissan Leaf is the best selling green car on their own home soil. As we discovered from the recent electric car sales stats, GM is selling fewer Volts compared to the Leafs.

Mitsubishi have revealed that the i-MieV electric car will cost $28,800 in the States. As for the UK, the price is £28,990. Yes, that’s in pounds sterling – makes around $45,000. Please note that both prices do not include Government subsidies or rebates. It is the catalogue price. So, are the i-MieVs coming to the UK $16,200 better than the American ones? Apparently not, so where does …

Environmental activists often accuse Formula 1 of being too unfriendly to the planet and polluting the air with CO2 and other stuff.
An F1 car achieves fuel economy (or the lack of it) of only 3mpg, which is worse than even a Lamborghini.
Slowly but steadily F1 is getting greener. A few years ago they decided to scrap the 3-litre V10 engines and replace them with 2.4-litre V8. Well, those who like big engines will
