The Experimental Ferrari HY-KERS Hybrid vehicle
The HY-KERS experimental vehicle is an example of how Ferrari would approach the development of green motoring technology without losing sight of the performance. A slow Ferrari would be just plain stupid! Don’t worry, it won’t be slow.
This hybrid project is aimed at ensuring that Ferrari will be in a position to comply with future emissions standards. City driving is traditionally where sports cars are most notorious as their engines are designed for maximum efficiency and performance at high revs.

Renault ZOE is an electric car that looks like a prototype but apparently it is not one. Renault plans to produce this car as early as in 2011. The technical specifications suggest that it would go 100 miles on one charge - pretty much industry standard. Honestly, I think it must be a prototype - those doors would be very impractical and look at the seats. White swans spring to mind, or maybe I’m too spoiled. What can we say to the “experts” who claimed that the sector would pick up and see a boom?
In December 2009 25,167 HVs were sold, which was a …
This spring will mark a rather revolutionary development (or maybe not) in green motoring. Mercedes will provide 200 B-Class F-Cell vehicles on lease for customers in USA and Europe. The cars could be ready as soon as early in March.
It will be the first serially produced fuel cell car. The F-Cell has a 100 kW electric motor that is powered by a fuel cell system using compressed hydrogen. There is
