Ok, this has nothing to do with music. ELVIIS stands for electric vehicle intelligent infra structure and it is a new research project carried out between Volvo, Ericsson and Gothenburg Energy. They are developing a smart charging system for electric cars.

Five Volvo C30 electric cars will be used for testing to evaluate the new technology over one whole year. The ELVIIS technology will help drivers to locate a recharge outlet by employing an integrated GPS system.
